We are a team called Fanpu (凡朴) from Chengdu, China. Our team has been working on Farm-based educational program for five years. We have built a community including organic farm, homestay/farm hostel, and nature school in the rural area of Chengdu, China. Our mission is to promote the holistic growth of Chinese kids through creative tinkering Play based education and garden based learning, and also the sustainable development of rural area of China. This year, we are planning to build an interactive Children’s discovery museum. We have already gotten the permit for construction from the government, and the design of the building/architecture has been underway. we call the museum Fankids exploratorium. In this museum, we will build up a R&D center to develop the interactive exhibits for the museum, and the R&D center will be called Fankids fablab after being accepted as a fablab node.This year I will be participating in the FabAcademy2019 and my progress will be documented on this website.
