  • Group Assignment: Review the safety data sheets for each of your molding and casting materials,then make and compare test casts with each of them.
  • Individual Assignments: Design a mold around the stock and tooling that you'll be using, mill it (rough cut + (at least) three-axis finish cut), and use it to cast parts

Now it's to play with my Shapeoko Pro 3D carving Capabilities

My Shapeoko Pro CNC Router technical should have the rigidity to mill small details like a smaller CNC. The Shapeoko Pro has 15mm Linear rails on every axis. This should come in handy to machine the wax with no problems. For some reason, it was so satisfying to see my CNC cut a perfect circle. I was wondering how hard and cool it would be to see a sphere come to life.
