EAT AND DRINK IN LEON

The tradition of serving a free tapa (a small appetizer) with each drink is still going strong in León and locals young and old take full advantage of it.

So you can buy a beverage in any bar or pub, and it will be served with a small side food for free.

If you want to drink red wine say "UN VINO", in the walls of the bar should be a list of labels and prices for each glass of wine.

If you want to drink a beer say "UNA CERVEZA", or "una caña". Usually there are beer taps in all the bar, but also you can ask for a botle of beer "un botellin".

Its typical to see groups of friends going bar after bar, drinking one round of drinks in each bar. So when you finish your beverage, you move to the next bar. So you can (almost) eat by the price of a drink.
