The bootcamp is divided into two days. Day 1 focuses on general tips, tools and survival strategies. Day 2 gives you a lightweight technical overview to get you started.

Luciana Asinari

Global Coordination · Fab Academy

Luciana coordinates the Fab Academy program and supports nodes around the world to run the course and connect new students to the global network.

Pablo Nuñez

Instructor · Fab Lab León

Pablo is a Fab Academy alumni and instructor. He mentors students on documentation, assessment, and how to navigate Fab Academy successfully.

Adrián Torres

Instructor · Fab Lab León

Adrián focuses on general tips, search strategies, and media documentation, helping students to create clear and complete portfolios.

Rico Kanthatham

Instructor · Time Management

Rico shares practical strategies for managing time and workload in Fab Academy, including spiral development and documentation routines.

Þórarinn Gunnarsson

Instructor · Emotions and Memes

As the Director of Fab Lab Ísafjörður in Iceland, I lead efforts to bridge the gap between education, industry, and the community.

Silvia Lugo

Instructor · Product design

My main training is in Industrial Design, with experience in Digital Manufacturing. It is an area that I am passionate about and that I continue to explore through freelance projects focused on modeling and prototyping

Saheen Palayi

Instructor · Product design

Saheen Palayi is a product designer and problem solver based in Kerala, India, and an Instructor at Super FabLab Kerala. Working across electronics, mechanics, and digital fabrication, he supports students and early-stage startups in turning ideas into functional prototypes, and enjoys breaking complex systems into simple, buildable solutions. For FabAcademy 2026, he contributes as a Global Instructor, sharing practical insights from the electronics weeks and beyond.

Luc Hanneuse

Instructor · Product design

Luc Hanneuse is the manager of AgriLab, an Open‑Innovation centre and FabLab that belongs to UniLaSalle Institut Polytechnique. He has been involved with FabLabs since 2010 and joined FabAcademy in 2019. He conceives different programs connecting Agriculture, biodiversity ecosystem & technology. Among the many facets of agricultural prototyping are networking and communications (agricultural systems often operate in “white‑zone” environments), robot development, AI‑driven deep‑learning solutions, and even low‑tech approaches.

YeEun Miriam Choi

Instructor · Product design

Experienced in developing innovative solutions that bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.
