A postcolonial debt is owed to people of the global south, whose livelihood resources are appropriated in primitive accumulation. And inter-generational debt is owed to youth, who will inherit an overheated planet. An ecological debt is owed to the full web of biodiversity of species sacrificed to the fetish of exchange.”
