8. Computational couture¶
The interconnectedness of programming and electronics in disciplines has blurred boundaries, affecting fashion. This class explores computational design methods for reinterpreting clothes, garments, and accessories, transforming data into beauty and interaction into emotion.
Ideation¶
In terms of the design, the first test was printing in PLA filament but I didn't achieve the transparency texture I was looking for. achieved the texture, but not the transparency. For that reason I changed to be flexible resin to make the stratis more pronounced and with the transparency I was looking for, a kind of opaque appeal.
I should said that the creation of this product, using the choosen process and material, can be more expensive that the ones in the market. But it is worth the result.
