Design rules for in-house PCB production
A test was conducted on the Roland MDX-20 to assess the achievable level of detail. The results indicate that while the trace width can be as narrow as 0.1mm, a width of 0.2mm to 0.3mm is advisable. Additionally, although possible to get narrow spacing using narrow milling bits or V-bits the test determined that the minimum spacing between traces should be 0.4mm when using a 1/64 milling bit.
