Juan Diego

I'm Juan Diego from FabLab UContinental. I'm excited to participate in this bootcamp for the first time. I believe these spaces are a great opportunity to learn and apply valuable insights in practice. It's truly an enriching experience!

Group Project

Our group project is a collaborative effort to apply the skills we've learned during the bootcamp. We aim to design and create an innovative solution that addresses real-world challenges, emphasizing teamwork, creativity, and practicality. Follow our journey as we document every step, from brainstorming ideas to delivering the final product. Group Project The development of the technological bracelet concept follows an iterative process, integrating design, digital fabrication, and electronics to achieve the project's objectives. development Project development Project development Project development Project development Project development Project development Project development Project

1. Biomaterials:

A mixture of glycerin and gelatin is used to experiment with biomaterials that could be part of the bracelet's design. Dyes are incorporated to explore aesthetic options. 1

2. 3D Design:

The bracelet is modeled in Autodesk Inventor, detailing dimensions and functionality. The design is optimized for additive manufacturing. 1

3. 3D Printing:

Initial prototypes of the bracelet are 3D printed, evaluating the shape and ergonomics of the design. 1

4. Electronic Design:

Using EasyEDA, electronic circuits are designed to integrate key components such as the control module, sensors, and voice interface. 1

5. Version Control:

Tools like FabCloud and Gitbash are used to manage and document the project's code and progress.

Visual Studio Code is utilized to develop and debug the assistant's software. 1

6. Electronic Manufacturing:

Electronics are assembled and tested, integrating the designed modules to ensure the bracelet functions as planned.

7. Programming:

Electronics are assembled and tested, integrating the designed modules to ensure the bracelet functions as planned.
