STUDENT AGREEMENT

The Fab Academy is responsible for:

1. 1. Teaching principles and practices of digital fabrication
2. 2. Arranging lectures, recitations, meetings, and events for the class
3. 3. Evaluating and providing feedback on student work
4. 4. Offering clear standards for completing assignments
5. 5. Certifying and archiving student progress
6. 6. Supervising class preparation
7. 7. Reviewing prospective students, instructors, and labs
8. 8. Providing central staff and infrastructure for students, instructors, and labs
9. 9. Fund-raising for costs not covered by student tuition
10. 10. Managing and reporting on the program's finances, results, and impacts
11. 11. Publicizing the program
13. 12. Promoting a respectful environment free of harassment and discrimination.

I am a Fab Academy student, responsible for:

14. 1. Attending class lectures and participating in reviews
15. 2. Developing and documenting projects assigned to introduce and demonstrate skills
16. 3. Honestly reporting on my work, and appropriately attributing the work of others
17. 4. Working safely
18. 5. Leaving workspaces in the same (or better) condition than I found them
19. 6. Participating in the upkeep of my lab
20. 7. Ensuring that my tuition to cover local and central class costs is covered
21. 8. Promoting a respectful environment free of harassment and discrimination
