What is Intellectual Property?
Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce.
IP is protected in law by, for example, patents, copyright and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they invent or create. By striking the right balance between the interests of innovators and the wider public interest, the IP system aims to foster an environment in which creativity and innovation can flourish.
What is Copyright?
Copyright is a legal term used to describe the rights that creators have over their literary and artistic works. Works covered by copyright range from books, music, paintings, sculpture and films, to computer programs, databases, advertisements, maps and technical drawings.
What is Creative Commons?
Creative Commons (CC) is an internationally active non-profit organisation that provides free licences for creators to use when making their work available to the public. These licences help the creator to give permission for others to use the work in advance under certain conditions.

Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a globally-accessible public commons of knowledge and culture. We make it easier for people to share their creative and academic work, as well as to access and build upon the work of others. By helping people and organizations share knowledge and creativity, we aim to build a more equitable, accessible, and innovative world.
What is Creative Commons license do?
The Creative Commons copyright licenses and tools forge a balance inside the traditional “all rights reserved” setting that copyright law creates. Our tools give everyone from individual creators to large companies and institutions a simple, standardized way to grant copyright permissions to their creative work. The combination of our tools and our users is a vast and growing digital commons, a pool of content that can be copied, distributed, edited, remixed, and built upon, all within the boundaries of copyright law.
Various Licence
1. Attribution 
This license lets others distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon your work, even commercially, as long as they credit you for the original creation. This is the most accommodating of licenses offered. Recommended for maximum dissemination and use of licensed materials.
2. Attribution-ShareAlike 
This license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon your work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.
3. Attribution-NoDerivs 
This license lets others reuse the work for any purpose, including commercially; however, it cannot be shared with others in adapted form, and credit must be provided to you.
4. Attribution-NonCommercial 
This license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon your work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms
5. Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 
This license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon your work non-commercially, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.
5. Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 
This license is the most restrictive of our six main licenses, only allowing others to download your works and share them with others as long as they credit you, but they can’t change them in any way or use them commercially.
ABOUT MY PROJECT
There are lot of solar trackers available in market my project is just a prototype and it is an initial stage of working on foldable and unique tracker unique tracker which tracking the sun rays directly and its efficiency is more than other crackers it requires lot of improvement to be done on it it can be patent as I think I will use most of the open source think to developed it for the future scope it should be Wi-Fi controlled. I want it to be installed in fields in my college I decided to go with creative commons licence.
When you share your creativity you enabling people from and where to use it learn from it be inspired by it
How Copyright works
When you create something anything from photograph to drawing you automatically own And all rights reserved copyrights to that creative
Creative commons protects your creativity against user you don't consent to.
But sometimes full copyright is too restrictive.
When I want that millions people use my work without the hassle of coming to me for permission.
If you want my work to be freely shared reserved and built upon the rest of world so creative commons provide free copyright licence and you can used to tell people exactly which parts of your copyright you are happy to give to public it is free. You don't give up your copyright, you refine it so it works better for you.

I choose Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 as I am doing prototyping which will require various amendment in future and if someone will use my work and implement something on it and make it useful for society and providing credits to me with same licence conditions.It wil be okay for me.

As it is the need of hour to make such efficient solar tracker which is eco-friendly and anyone can install these type of solar tracker at home with minimum expenditure.If this project successfully work it will be great to commercialize for homes.
